Al Hamdulillah, CFA organized Chhipa Convention 2023 on Sep 1-3 after 6 years which proved to be a great success yet again with more than 100 people attending from different parts of US. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed together.
This year’s convention was dedicated to Mohammed Sharif Munshi who is the founding member of CFA where people recalled their moments with him and enlightened all as how he had impacted lives of people in US and India.
CFA’s annual report was also presented in convention along with fun activities such as Carrom Tournament, Chhipa Language Test for kids, Musical Chair and most loved Chhipa Cricket Tournament. All these accompanied by Special Chhipa style food dishes.

The Chhipa convention first took place in 2009 and Alhamdulillah has made its way pretty far and is still going on today and we look forward to it every year in future as an event to meet "our people" to interact with them and to alert them about "our chhipawad". It's a place where we all gather as whole together to have fun, dress up, eat together under one roof as a way to get close and better at conveying each other. I look forward to seeing each and every one of us in next Chhipa Convention. |

Alhamdulillah, attending the convention was an excellent experience, with common objective of serving others. We stood together in lines praying Namaz collectively, symbolizing our unity and remembrance of Allah during the event. This marked our first Chhipa convention without Munshi Dada, making it even more important for us to carry on the pursuits he was passionate about. I am pleased to have been somewhat helpful; serving as one of the MCs was an amazing experience. Lastly, I extend my gratitude to all the people who contributed to making this event happen. |
